RLA Global is on the ground in Kuwait for a new assignment, assessing the viability of entertainment within a new mixed-use development. The visit gave the firm's Group CEO, Roger Allen, the opportunity to revisit a project from many years ago.
RLA Global was originally appointed by the Kuwait Government to reimagine a number of state assets, including the concept and feasibility work behind transforming Messilah Beach into an appealing leisure destination. The project brought together family entertainment, beach, sports, food and beverage, retail, and wellness, designed to serve both local residents and international tourism.
Seeing a project realised years after the original vision was set remains one of the most rewarding parts of the firm's work, particularly in this case. Beyond the concept planning and financial viability stages, RLA Global worked closely with the master planners throughout delivery, to help ensure the execution stayed true to the original vision.
The firm extended its thanks to the Kuwait Government and TEC for their continued trust in RLA Global.
Reflecting on the visit, Roger Allen said:
"Happy to be back in Kuwait and to see our project planning work come to life, whilst we start a new one. Nostalgia is not my thing, but this visit really touched me."
