We're excited to announce our new strategic partnership with premium sleep technology innovator FreshBed. This collaboration marks an important step in our mission to advance wellness standards across the hospitality industry.
FreshBed will become the official sponsor of our Wellness Real Estate Report (WRER), enabling us to expand our analysis of sleep-related wellness trends in upcoming editions. We share a fundamental belief that quality sleep is a key driver of guest satisfaction and loyalty—an insight that's increasingly valuable as wellness offerings continue to evolve in hospitality.
"Sleep quality is emerging as an important element in the hospitality experience," notes our Group CEO, Roger Allen. "This partnership allows us to highlight the importance of sleep technology as a differentiator in the competitive hospitality landscape."
"At FreshBed, we believe that quality sleep and hygiene are essential to well-being. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation in hospitality," said Barry van Doornewaard, CEO of FreshBed.
Our most recent Wellness Real Estate Mid-Year Report revealed significant performance variations across wellness categories, with Minor Wellness outperforming Major Wellness in year-on-year ADR, TRevPAR, and TRevPOR growth. These findings underscore the importance of strategic planning when investing in wellness amenities—precisely the kind of insights our partnership with FreshBed will help enrich.
We'll be introducing this partnership at the International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin in March 2025, where our team will be available to discuss how this collaboration will benefit our clients and the broader hospitality industry.
The upcoming Wellness Real Estate Report, scheduled for release in May 2025, will be the first to feature FreshBed's sponsorship, with a subsequent H1 update following in October 2025.
Together with FreshBed, we aim to broaden the industry conversation around wellness amenities and deepen understanding of how quality sleep impacts both guest experience and operational performance.
