Meet Laura Dutrieux - our Senior Hospitality & Tourism Consultant - whose professional journey is marked by excellence and a relentless pursuit of growth.

Laura is an inspirational person, a passionate athlete and a seasoned professional, with extensive background in the tourism and leisure industry. Laura has been a driving force behind various strategic projects within RLA Global, representing owners, developers, and investors across the globe.

As a hobby, Laura is a competitive trail runner. She conquered the Constantia VOC 15km Road Race in Cape Town, the last road race planned for the season.

As she reports:

"Starting with fast kilometres, descending towards and around the Tokai forest, I needed to clock some time whilst keeping some energy for the long 6-kilometres climb that were taking the runners to the finishing line.

'Maybe the only time I will tell you to start faster than you finish!' - told my coach (who knows how bad I generally am at pacing myself…). That was my race! Fifteen kilometres ran in a Personal Record of 1hr7min and ended up in the top 10… smashing my goal of 1hr12 minutes!"

"Laura's relentless spirit and unwavering focus are evident. Laura exemplifies a person committed to pushing boundaries and striving for excellence in every endeavor. We at RLA Global are very proud to have such a remarkable individual in our team. Laura's performance at the Constantia VOC Road Race represents the core values of the company—determination, passion, and the pursuit of constant improvement. Laura is a shining example for everyone, showing that greatness can be achieved with unwavering dedication and a desire to always be better." - says Roger Allen, our Global CEO.

Laura leads projects at RLA Global relating to single asset class feasibility studies, financial modeling, wellbeing experience planning, operator search, and tourism destination planning for mixed-use developments.

Laura holds a bachelor's degree in hospitality management and completed her MBA in Hospitality Management at ESSEC Business School, focusing on Real Estate and Luxury Marketing. Her expertise is well-regarded, as she is involved in RLA Global's hospitality and tourism projects all around the world and was a contributing author to the 2023 Wellness Real Estate Report.

Laura's combination of experience, strategic thinking, and creative flair has proven invaluable in helping RLA Global's clients achieve long-term success. RLA Global proudly acknowledges her as a leader in the field, making a positive impact on the world of tourism and hospitality.
