Roger was joined on stage by an eminent panel of hospitality CEO’s:

The 50-minute session was a fascinating insight into the challenges senior leaders have had to face in the pandemic and what lessons they have taken away and have become key to thriving in the new normal.

As ever, labour shortages became a hot topic for discussion with the panel all agreeing that they have become an even greater headache in the industry and all the CEO’s acknowledged that the issues around worker contracts and low pay are something that the industry still needs to work on.

Roger also brought a more positive note to the proceedings, observing that it’s the first time we can begin to talk about post COVID-19 given the vaccination rate data, the number of flights and routes that are now open, and concluding that optimism in the sector seems to be at the highest he has seen since before the pandemic began.
